The Data Quality Network is education professionals and data staff working and learning together to optimize the governance, quality, and application of data in order to improve the delivery of educational opportunities to students across the Commonwealth. The organization coordinates meetings across all Intermediate Units in order to receive and discuss current topics surrounding Data Governance, Quality, Collection and Use.

The August Networking Activity Will Be Broken Out by IU Region
The networking activity will offer LEA staff a chance to reconnect with the IU DQNPoint-of-Contact (PoC) or be introduced to any new PoCs. Discussion topics for LEAs include feedback and comments on the pros and cons of a remote work environment, LEAs plans for returning in the fall, gathering feedback on the 20-21 format for the DQN meetings and what kinds of supports they may need from Points of Contact given a potential extended virtual work environment. Discussion may also include comments on the PDE content discussed in August’s meeting as well as any current or upcoming collections.
