Information Technology updates to new software and hardware are a regular part of all work environments today. Student Information Systems are no exception. This panel of PIMS Administrators will present their LEA's recent transition to a new SIS vendor. Attendees will receive multiple perspectives with each's unique experience to the process, with insight into the search process and how it was conducted, what to look for when considering new vendors, the decision as to why the chose them, tips and tricks learned through the implementation from the previous structure to the new and overall lessons learned.

Steven Greene, Pittsburgh Public Schools Assistant Director of Data Reporting, will outline the important steps to complete and questions to ask when developing organizational data dashboards. The conversation will touch on: what dashboards can - and cannot - do for a school district, what makes a dashboard high quality, and how to get started on developing good, strong dashboards.
